Aksaray University (ASÜ) successfully passed the audit processes for the renewal of two different certificates expressing compliance with the standards set by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE).
The audits, which take place every three years, consist of three stages: "First Audit," "Second Audit" and "Document Renewal". TSE Managers recently came to ASU for the audits of both documents and carried out a series of examinations. Following the work carried out, ASU successfully passed the second audit stage in ISO 9001 certificate and the renewal stage in ISO 13811 certificate. Following the relevant studies, ASU Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ayhan Özçifçi and ASU Deputy Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. İbrahim Örün, TSE Konya Provincial Coordination Office Chief Auditor Kerim Parlak, TSE Aksaray Provincial Coordination Office Chief Auditor İsmail Karacan and Auditor Refika Zeynep Öztürk visited Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Şahin. Pointing out that both certificates are very valuable for ASU, Rector Şahin said, "We meticulously follow all the processes for the continuity of the documents showing the conformity of our works with TSE and we sincerely fulfil our duties at this point."
Şahin thanked those who contributed to the studies and underlined that these studies are also important in terms of institutionalisation activities.
